You ladies are BEAUTIFUL! I'm so proud of you!

  2. Mark JonesNo Gravatar says:

Awesome girls, Thank you for the effort, I can't wait...

  3. Where is the link to buy the calendar??? I couldn't find it???? Make it bigger and put it at the top!

  4. Oh Ok I get it. I will donate 20 bucks and you will send the calendar. Cool, just had to read closer. Thanks

  5. TiffanyNo Gravatar says:

    This is... ridiculous.

The quotes are regurgitated, and it would seem that one of the main goals is to show off how cute all of you are (which all of you really are) rather than actually make a statement.

I'm sorry to criticize, but I am rather disappointed in your movement. You really shouldn't ask girls to send their pictures as part of joining your group. The heavy endorsement of alcohol in a majority of the pictures posted leaves much to be desired as far as taste goes.

To what cause are your donations even going?

  6. Tiffany,

I think you will be pleasantly surprised as to the Calendars content! Each woman chose her theme and wrote her stance on the issue. It is rather quite well put, though out, and intelligent!

"You really shouldn't ask girls to send their pictures as part of joining your group. "
Um, noone is force to post a picture of themselves on our social network. You will notice some have the LOLA logo, a past woman leader, or icons ill related to their pictures!
We are all about non initiation of force or fraud and as far as our mission statement:
“The mission of the Ladies of Liberty Alliance is to build a community of liberty-minded women who are empowered to achieve their individual goals in the fight for freedom. This is accomplished through education and networking opportunities that are focused on inspiring and supporting all women who want to gain the confidence and support to fulfill their dreams.”

How can you speak negatively of something like that? We are in this together Tiffany. We would love for you to be apart of this and help us to become an active force in the movement!

thank you for the compliments, but besides being beautiful, these ladies are leaders in the movement and were chosen more so because of their strength, story, and passion. They are some of the hardest working women in liberty and I personally am honored to have them. I stand by them 100% and I assure you, the quotes aren't regurgitated- they are true in each of our ladies hearts and for you to demean them strikes a nerve.
But I understand how you feel, and I would have taken it the same way if I had not seen the calendar.
Trust me, you will realize what I mean when the calendars come out.
    I appreciate your input!

    @ Tiffany,

Why, why, is it when women show that they are smart, strong, beautiful and sexy do other women criticize them?

Stop pigeonholing women, they can and often do posses all of those qualities.

@ LOLA keep swinging for the fences

“The test of civilization is the estimate of woman. Among savages she is a slave. In the dark ages of Christianity she is a toy and a sentimental goddess. With increasing moral light, and greater liberty, and more universal justice, she begins to deve”

I find this to be offensive - and the causes/quotes conflicting. What a frustrating collection of some acceptable, some definitely NOT, photos for a calendar. My husband couldn't put this on the wall in his office and he works for a beer company. You missed "beautiful" by the addition of "skin". Too bad.

  9. Jill, this isn't the middle ages here - I think you're being *quite* overly critical. It's a CALENDAR. Of course it has some beautiful women showing off a little skin - but most of us realize that's not the point. It's a tasteful calendar too compared to most any calendars you see from the typical liberal/conservative causes. I hope for your sake that you're able to relieve that tension surrounding your sphincter!

::::When people do whatever they want, you get Woodstock. When governments do whatever they want, you get Auschwitz::::

  10. KrisNo Gravatar says:

This calendar is great because it shows the diversity of both the women in the movement and the areas in which they are passionately fighting for liberty. I hope LOLA produces such a calendar every year.

  11. Chucky PitaNo Gravatar says:

I see 12 Daphny Taggart's right there! So hot! Atlas Shrugged is in good hands with you. :)

  12. TiffanyNo Gravatar says:

I have to speak my mind, and then I'll rest my case. I think the skin-showing is a little bit much, no offense, but had I a young son, I wouldn't want to hang that month on the wall. Just sayin'. As far as the alcohol goes, I think it's foolish and slightly irresponsible to post pictures of yourself on the internet that involve drugs - yes, even legal ones. There is nothing wrong with having a drink now and then once you're 21 and in good health, but advertising your appreciation for any drug while trying to get the world to take you and your causes seriously is probably not your best option for success. So, you may think I'm wrong about "the skin", because sometimes I'm a little extra conservative about that stuff, and I truly mean no offense. If it were my place to give advice, I'd say you might want to sharpen your angle a little to better reach your goals. But it's not, so, whatever.

Besides, I'm a fan of your page on Facebook - and I consider myself a lover of liberty and truth, too. It's good to know there are others out there praying for peace and preparing to never stop fighting!

  13. Tiffany- These pics arent the ACTUAL calendar month pictures... just chill out and wait till you see them....

  14. BellatruthNo Gravatar says:

I agree with you, Jill. I was interested in LOLA and its calendar, and even advocated it to some of my friends and family members... that is until I realized that whoever is in charge of picking the pictures to be published is using the calendar to incrementally promote soft porn, perhaps in the belief that in order to feel "confident", we must forgo, as women, what is appropriate. That's the main problem with Libertarians as a whole... they are divided ethically, and morally.

The principals of Liberty are first and foremost about morals, or else what are we in the liberty movement fighting for... the right to be immoral? Immorality is the basis for slavery.

Even if some of these photos couldn't be considered 'immoral', even by Libertarians, then at the least the term 'inappropriate' is apropos. Some people have not been raised to know where to draw the line, if at all. After one has reached the level of 'inappropriate', it's all down hill from there.

Let women count all the ways to show and 'feel confident', and to finally be 'unashamed' of our bodies. Then, let's put the public exposing of skin at the bottom of the list. This is best for a moral, as well as ethical free society.

  15. Once again ladies- The pics above ARE NOT the actual calendar pictures!
    lol
IF you ladies would just look at the actual calendar you would see this!

This is why our movement is slowing down! Because too many ppl want to make judgments before reading all of the content!

  16. Patty LeeNo Gravatar says:

Dear Ladies, I believe this project is awesome and is a celebration of feminine style and grace. I guess the price of more relative freedom is sometimes being aware that so called arbiters of "how to present the liberty movement" has to be tolerated but then ignored. Ladies follow your own path to presenting your self, I admire this effort and plan to purchase calendar for Christmas gift giving. This being said I have too questioned how some have represented a loosely formed movement and have concluded that I must choose carefully among many choices how to engage support of libertarian ideals for my self: critics you are so advised. In the case of the Liberty Ladies calendar .... Merry Christmas and you go girls!
    Thank You, Patty Lee
