LOLA 2.0

Hello Ladies of Liberty,
So it’s been a great year for LOLA. We have expanded, gotten a tidal wave of excitement, and I have been seeing leaders emerging from our ranks. In one year so many of the original LOLA Core have become leaders and faces in this movement. They are amazing individuals.
On another note, we have taken some time to focus on the background of LOLA. WE have revamped our site (thank you Netboots) and have decided to break into the women's liberty gear market. We are coordinating with organizations on making the female gear for them and selling it on our site. We will be the go to for attractive clothing representing the who's who of the movement. That is still in the works, so if you are an organization that wants to get involved, please email me at allison@iamlola.org.
Thank you to all the women nationwide who have moved me to continue this venture. What was a spark in my brain has now flourished into an amazing project in which I have been blessed to meet the most amazing women. I have learned so much from them, and I can only hope to learn more from you.
We have decided to do things differently with LOLA. We aren't going to be that top down organization. We won't fall into bureaucratic tendencies. We are here to give you resources. We just want to you to learn, to become empowered, to take over your local area or become a leader in the liberty movement. We are calling for the leading women of this movement- both past and future.
One upcoming project I am proud to announce is the LOLA Women's Caucus of 2011. We want to bring in the women of this movement that are wanting to make a change, wanting to build a community, emboldened to take charge and push women's issues to the forefront. Ladies who want to learn from others that have gone before us.
I want this to be a time of strategy. To find out our needs, and assess where we are and where we want to end up. We will meet and discuss why women aren't an equal force in the liberty movement. There will be more info on that shortly.
But I wanted to thank you for all of your hard work. We will be a wave of positive change. We will focus on the good and on becoming self sustaining.
Thank you for your inspiration and I look forward to working with you very soon.
In Liberty,
Allison Gibbs
